This standard I-Beam bridge crosses Five Island Lake in Emmetsburg.
Built in approximately 1920, the bridge features a single I-Beam span, approached by trestle. These spans are set onto timber piers.
Old stone abutments beneath the current bridge indicate that the steel span was raised and placed on timber substructures.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition. Some minor deterioration can be found on the bridge.

The author has ranked this bridge as being minimally significant, due to the common design and newer age.
